New "Y Series" Hydraulic Slip Setting Elevator
Available in YT and HYT frame style elevators, with capasities of 70 or 150 Tons. The Hydraulic Slip Set (HSS) series incorprates a special hyfraulic guide plate , when actuated, compresses the setting plate, along with all 4 interlocking slip omto the tubular. This allows the elevator and slips to be set anywhere on the tubular below the upset of the tool joint, preventing the need or use of lift nubbins when running PAC or slim hole pipe.
